- Luminara Flameless LED Moving Flame Tapers are made with 100% pure paraffin wax, hand poured and carefully designed to look like traditional candles. Battery operated electric candles are safer to use: running children, dancing couples, and rambunctious pets can knock these candles over without fear. The lack of soot and chemicals released in the air makes them ideal for indoor use. Although not waterproof, they can be used as outdoor candles on clear days.
